PARKS

The Village of North Prairie is committed to providing all residents with accessible greenspaces. Our parks, located in the heart of North Prairie, help to promote healthy living by providing residents with clean and safe areas to pursue sports, recreation, and leisure activities.

The Village of North Prairie's parks are equipped with facilities that are open to the public.

Veterans Park is located off of Hwy 59 and features a beautiful garden area with historical, fully restored, vintage stone houses, a children's play area, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, baseball diamonds and pavillion.

Village Park is located on Karin Drive and features spacious grassy areas, soccer fields, a softball diamond, updated children's play structures and pavillion.

Our new park, Broadland's Park, located at STH 59 & St. Andrew's Boulevard offers soccer fields, baseball diamond, tot lot and children's play area.

CEMETARY

The North Prairie cemetery is located on the north side of  Hwy 59 west of the Village of North Prairie.  It is next to the Broadlands Subdivision.

The first lots were sold in 1899 after a group of local residents formed the Cemetery Association.  The cemetery has grown over the years and presently covers about 3 acres. 

All of the lots in the old section of the cemetery are sold and we are currently in the process of plotting an acre of land to the north that we own.
