IMPORTANT YARD WASTE INFORMATION The 2 (two) yard waste collection dates for 2008 will be Saturday, May 17th and Saturday, November 15th. Please have yard waste at the curb by 6:00 AM. Items to be collected include the following: 1. Brush measuring 4 foot or less in length and 2 inches or less in diameter. All brush must be bundled. 2. Leaves and rakings contained in clear plastic bags or in other containers – MUST BE FREE OF TRASH, PLASTIC OR OTHER NON-DEGRADABLE MATERIALS 3. Trimmings, plants or garden waste that are bundled or in a manageable container. 2008 HOLIDAY COLLECTION SCHEDULE
Memorial Day – Monday May 26, 2008 All collections will be delayed by one day beginning with the regular Monday routes being done on Tuesday and ending with the regular Friday routes being done on Saturday. Independence Day - Friday, July 4, 2008 Friday collections will be delayed by one day. Labor Day - Monday, September 1, 2008 All collections will be delayed by one day beginning with the regular Monday routes being done on Tuesday and ending with the regular Friday routes being done on Saturday. Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 27, 2008 Thursday and Friday collections will be delayed by one day. Christmas Day - Thursday, December 25, 2008 Thursday and Friday collections will be delayed by one day.
COLLECTION OF BULKY ITEMS (not allowed in regular trash pick-up) Every first Tuesday of each month, John’s Disposal will pick up bulky items for disposal. There is no need to call ahead. Items must be placed at the curb at least 5 feet away from the normal trash and recycling bins.
